Edge cutter M 2450

Problem-free edge cutter for trimming off the selvedge at the end of a coater for example. Each cut unit operates with a set of separately driven circular knives, Ø 132 mm, which have a long lifetime. The cutting units can be adjusted centrally with each individual head having independent fine setting. The M 2450 edge cutter can be provided with a Vision system.
This system detects the selvedge or the print pattern of the carpet and uses this information and a PC to control the position of the edge-cutting beam. The entire system contributes to the reduction of the carpet-edge width and the corresponding quantity of yarn.
